Daniel Vowles has studied Latin for the past fourteen years including over twenty hours of Proficiency Latin. Daniel and has taught Latin with us during the summer programme for four years now. Daniel began teaching introductory Latin during the 2011-2012 academic term, and now offers both introductory Latin and intermediate Latin during academic term. Daniel is preparing to teach the intermediate Latin course during the summer programme 2013.
In 2014 Daniel agreed to compile the extensive cross referencing for our second book, Ossium Carnes Multae. In the process Daniel is reviewing the text not only for corrections but for improvements based on experience both teaching Latin according to Reginald Foster’s method and studying these texts with us suring summer term these past several summers. Daniel’s formal education in Classical Latin has proven a solid preparation to make this contribution.
